It
is without a
doubt that PEB represents
a spectrum of ideas, concepts, and artistic endeavors to many different
people. Each of us is a unique individual, certainly, and PEB as
a whole
is comprised of the creative talents and energies of an enthusiastic
number of young persons; some, ardent activists in their schools and
communities; others, inquisitive documentarians interested in exploring
the spooky legacy of the former DeJarnette Sanitorium; a certain PEB
member is a Floridian socialite; others prefer to retreat into the
woodlands of Virginia to hone their artistic gifts.
The call of the wild & nature has occasionally
resulted in fabulous days spent upon the majestic realm of Reddish
Knob, the highest point of elevation in Augusta County.
Spontaneous trips to dig deeper into the libraries of our region offer endless resources in the process of realizing that a
true education is a life-long endeavor.
The best advice I can offer is this: if the trip of daily life itself
becomes devoid of adventurous moments shared with friends, then demand
a refund for your
ticket!
PEB has always been strident in endeavoring to empower our peers
to capture the moments of
life that are thrilling and to run with them.
A prime component of the inherent
beauty of this collaborative effort is the fluidity of our ongoing
administration efforts. Brainstorming sessions amongst PEB
members allows for explorations of concepts which are essential in
formulating our approach to the
public via our web site, and we are in a constant process of refining
ongoing long - term
goals and discovering new frontiers for PEB as an informal organization.
For example, even you, our guest web surfer of the "World Wide Web",
could eventually choose to participate in some of the creative
outlets offered throughout the year with other PEB affiliated
activists,
artists, writers, photographers, and actors.
PEB
would not be possible without the support of our Project
Associates and the many friends whom have offered steering advice
of great value during the previous years. The refinement of our objectives have
been made possible only through the integration of many great ideas
from individuals that I feel honored to have known.
Below
this text are several examples of my paintings. My belief in open
- mindedness is integrated in the fact that many of my
paintings are designed with no intended up and / or down 'side'.
It all
depends upon the room in which it is hung and which perspective works
best to the eye of the beholder.
